Shorba’s nearly-a-decade-old tracks are now available to stream and download.

Egypt’s experimental artists Nadah El Shazly (pictured) and Mohamed Shafik teamed up to form a duo, Shorba, back in the late 2012. The duo’s two only tracks titled “Ghaba” and “Shorbet Rosas” they shared on SoundCloud have had their own online life on the platform with nearly 700,000 plays in total. Now the duo drop the tracks packed in a self-titled EP and both can now be listened to across streaming platforms and downloaded to your devices.

The opening track “Shorbet Rosas” was also featured in the original score of the 2021 Netflix series, “AlRawabi School for Girls” which was directed by Jordanian producer, director, writer and actress Tima Shomali.

Producer and vocalist Nadah El Shazly continues her self career. The artist's 6-track album from 2017, "Ahwar", is still making waves.
